Lake County Twitter Users: Let’s use #lakecoca

by Carol Cole-Lewis on September 10, 2009

I don’t know about you, but I find it difficult to follow everything Lake County, California people are doing on Twitter. However, if we all agreed to use #lakecoca (short for “Lake County, California”)  in all our Tweets about Lake County, then we can easily follow what we’re up to by following the term. This is very easily done using a tool such as Tweetdeck.

Here’s the benefit of using #lakecoca

  • A Chamber member could reach out to #lakecoca followers by tweeting a special deal with a time limit.
  • We could follow news stories about Lake County when following #lakecoca
  • Lake County people needing help or resources within the county could ask followers of #lakecoca
  • Have something to sell in the county? Use the #lakecoca to reach your audience.

You can follow me on Twitter. I’m ccolelewis. I’ll be looking for you to use #lakecoca.
