Tiny Chat is a free browser-based tool that lets you have private chats with your online buddies (with video and sound included if you have the right equipment on your computer.) Use Tiny Chat for:
- Hosting a monthly Q&A with your customers
- Meeting with a mastermind group you formed with other local businesses
- Cutting down your phone bills when talking with your kids or other people you frequently communicate with
Sure, there are a ton of tools out there that will accomplish some of this (take Skype or Google Talk, for instance.) However, most of these tools (Skype and Google Talk included) require you to download and install software. The cool thing about Tiny Chat is that just about anyone with an internet connection is up and running in seconds. And, use Tiny Chat pro ($14.95 per month) to record your chats, set up permanent chat rooms, and to share your desktop with other users (ahhhh – THAT’s how they make their money. These features are definitely worthwhile if you’re planning on using a service like Tiny Chat regularly.)
The chat I set up below took me about 1 minute to set up – no special software required (That’s me waving “Hi! to y’all!):

Let me know how you use Tiny Chat and how you like the service
(and, let me just honor an accomplishment – this is my 100th post to this blog. Hope you’ve found my stuff useful!)
